The odds, the rules, and what this is and is not.

The odds, as implemented

Every card in a pack rolls independently: legendary, 1 in 40 cards; rare, 1 in 10; uncommon, 1 in 4; common, the rest. On top of that, 1 pack in 500 is a god pack: all five cards legendary. These are the numbers the code actually rolls — a test holds the implementation to this paragraph.

The rules of the set

Packs are free, unlimited within a polite rate limit, and identical in substance: rarity changes the frame around a card — the border, the shimmer — and never the facts on it. A common and a legendary of the same grave carry the same name, the same dates, the same cause, the same epitaph. There is no inventory, no trading, no streaks, no timer, and nothing is ever scarce: every pack link re-renders its five cards forever.

The facts on a card are the grave’s moderated record: name, dates, lifespan, cause of death. The card’s satire is the grave’s existing epitaph, printed in its own section labelled “field notes:” so no joke reads as a claim of fact.

What this is, and is not

Unofficial historical satire. No affiliation with, or endorsement by, any project named on a card. The cards are digital pictures on a web page: not a coin, not a token, not an NFT, not a collectible with a price. They are worth nothing, on purpose.

Removal

A card exists only while its grave stands. Have the grave removed — paste its page address into the removal form — and its card goes with it, including from every previously ripped pack.
